Memahami Kompetensi Multiliterasi

Pada sebuah seminar yang saya ikuti bertemakan tentang kompetensi literasi, salah satu pembicara mengemukakan tentang evolusi dari literasi ke multiliterasi.
Dikatakan bahwa membangun kompetensi literasi termasuk didalamnya adalah membangun rasa nasionalisme. Pembicara berkata bahwa guru bisa mengimplementasikannya melalui menyanyikan lagu-lagu nasional bersama siswa baik dalam bentuk bahasa Indonesia dan Inggris. Ini adalah bentuk upaya membangun rasa nasionalisme dan mengenal lagu nasional dalam program literasi.

Literasi berevolusi dari waktu ke waktu.

Dapat membaca
Gambar, grafik, elektronik, kinestetik
Multiliterasi

Segala hal yang mengandung arti dapat dikatakan sebagai TEKS.
Literasi bisa didefinisikan sebagai kemampuan untuk mengerti berbagai teks dalam berbagai bentuk yang lebih dari membaca dan menulis. Jika seseorang mampu berkemampuan seperti hal tersebut, mampu berliterasi, maka dikatakanlah "literat"

Membangun siswa untuk menjadi bagian dari literat adalah dimulai dari gurunya sendiri. Ketika suatu saat meminta siswa untuk menulis sebuah teks argumentatif dalam 16 menit, pernahkah kita meminta diri kita sendiri untuk menulis hal serupa?
Berdasarkan seminar, multiliterasi perlu dimulai dari pemahaman permendikbud no.23 th.2015 tentang budi pekerti membangun karakter siswa melalu program literasi sekolah.
Pihak sekolah, kepala sekolah, perlu menyediakan fasilitas agar para guru termasuk elemen caraka yang termasuk pedagang makanan agar mengerti literasi:
Misalnya dengan mengundang guru untuk menyumbangkan buku yang sudah digunakan (misalnya mendonasikan 5 buku perguru)

Tahapan penerapan multiliterasi:
Persiapan-Penerapan-Pengamatan-Evaluasi-Tindak lanjut.
Sebagai tahapan awal, bapak-ibu guru dapat mendownload FLIPBOARD dari google play.
Ada banyak hal yang perlu dipersiapkan untuk menerapkan multiliterasi. Tugas kita sebagai teacher adalah menfasilitasi siswa dengan berbagai multimodaliti.
